Dear Editor,
I want to set the record straight about the most recent hit piece against me, mailed by a Republican PAC supporting Gabriel Ramos. The lawsuit that the mailer referenced was settled and dismissed 20 years ago with no finding of guilt, and is being resurrected now as a smear tactic to derail my campaign for senate. This is exactly the kind of mudslinging that turns people off from politics.
Our community should know that I did nothing wrong, and I was never named as a party to the lawsuit. What this means as a practical matter is that I had no control over the case – I couldn't decide whether to settle or go to trial. If it had been up to me, I would have had a jury hear my side of the story. A lawsuit's allegations are just that – one person's narrative. Remember when Trump alleged in court that the election was stolen? I was neither fired nor disciplined in my job as a police officer as a result of those allegations. This lack of official repercussions underscores the absence of wrongdoing in my professional conduct.

"The Biden-Harris administration took more than a billion tax dollars that had been allocated to FEMA for disaster relief and used it to house illegal aliens. Now, they've abandoned American hurricane victims in North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, and Tennessee." -- Rep. Jim Jordan
If Joe and Kamala's chaotic leadership the past three and a-half years isn't irrefutable evidence of their thoroughly screwed-up capabilities as President and Vice President, now they have completely botched the government's response to the disaster inflicted by hurricane Helene.

Kamala's Border Blunders
VP Kamala Harris' border prank late last month was nothing more than a contrived — "pragmatic" — photo rehearsal. It's probably safe to say she didn't fool anyone. Except maybe, a fawning press.
Her purpose in traveling to the Arizona-Mexico line in Douglas, Arizona was all hat and no cattle. She had nothing to say or offer to explain her three and a-half year absence from the disaster that has become the hallmark of our nation's most pressing security issues.
Other than to pander for increased Border Patrol presence and drug security measures. The very things she has ignored or actively disagreed with during the Biden Administration.
To All Who Have Received This Letter,
You might want to read to the end since this letter is being sent to Non Metro NM Area Agency on Aging (AAA), NM Aging & Long-Term Services Department (ALTSD), and various people on the Grant County Board including the Manager, and the Media.
To: Rusty Tolley and other HMS Board Members
Once I tried to tell you about issues with one of HMS' decisions—like closing all the Centers because of snow in Silver when none fell in Gila and the roads out to there were clear enough to drive on—and your response was, " Don't tell me. I don't want to get in trouble." I like you as a person. But as a member of the HMS Board your job is to understand what is going on in the entire nonprofit company; and not to rubber stamp decisions. This is not GE where there are so many divisions and locations that you can't try to talk to any realistic number of employees of every level or visit every factory. From the perspective of my seniors, myself, and a few other employees not named here—I'll let them add their opinions without outing them personally—Dan and HMS is running an Old Boy Network, and it creates problems. More details about this issue below. You Board members must not simply agree to any changes without doing your own research on the true state of things. Please.
To: Dan Otero CEO, Debra "Nikki" Conyers, Cathy Diaz and Lacy Brown-Contreras
May I make a suggestion? Vote for Norm Wheeler for District Attorney of Sixth Judicial District.
Here’s why:
“Good Job!” Norm said to me after we made our closing remarks to the jury in Taos, New Mexico.
When Norm and I prepared to discuss this case with the jury we each wanted to highlight certain jury instructions, so we put a Post-it note on each. When I addressed the jury, I methodically removed the Post-it after mentioning each instruction. Then I sat down. Defense counsel made his closing. Norm got to have the last word. As he stood, Norm asked me for our packet of jury instructions. I handed them to him, Post-it-note- less. His eyebrows hit his hairline. He was going to have flip through more than thirty pages to find the passages he wanted to discuss on the fly. Which he did; no problem. Rather than cuss me, berate me, or walk away from me, Norm, characteristically and genuinely thanked me for my effort on the case.

Kamala, Dems and Pharaoh
The ABC News Trump-Harris Presidential debate during the evening of Sept. 10, established at least one undeniable fact – Kamala contrived more falsehoods than fact-checkers could keep up with.
Either that, or they unplugged their audio when she began spinning yarns.
However, in spite of her equivocating and assistance from the moderators, she can't hide from previous videos revealing what she's actually said in the past about certain topics.

In addition to all the rigamarole involving Donald Trump the past seven or eight years, it now appears he's become a shooting target for anyone needing a little practice.
In the last couple of months, former President Trump has been the victim of two assassination attempts. The first occurred while he was speaking at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania. The shooter was killed by Secret Service personnel after Trump had been wounded.
The second incident involved a shooter hiding in a hedge row bordering his golf course in Florida. Luckily, the Secret Service discovered the suspect – fired at him – then chased and arrested him after he fled the scene in a vehicle.
Dear Editor: These are comments about two articles in the Friday GCB. The
US Air Force now wants permission to extend its flight area over
Southwestern New Mexico to increase training areas. This permission would
include the release of chaff. The US Air Force has been releasing chaff
for years if not decades over desert areas in California. In addition to
the materials released from planes or drones higher in the atmosphere,
this would increase the burden of atmospheric toxins. Chaff is composed of
this: Chaff, originally called Window or Düppel, is a radar
countermeasure involving the dispersal of thin strips of aluminium,
metallized glass fiber, or plastic. Dispersed chaff produces a large radar
cross section intended to blind or disrupt radar systems. It is a
well-known medical fact that aluminum and plastic contamination in our
organs should be increased. Breathe deeply. That's sarcasm.
The second article regarding Heinrich's unsurprising support of sending
long-range missiles into Russia should perhaps influence how people vote
in November. Remember that Heinrich is strongly supported by Los Alamos
National Lab, the home of the atom bomb. What a boon to a weapons lab! I
can only hope I am unnecessarily concerned that these actions of NATO
aided by US politicians will start a nuclear holocaust.
